Sir,
Enclosure /.
51
H. M. Dockyard,
Hongkong, 18th April, 1922.

}
With further reference to your letter of the
6th ultimo, No.1 in 5197/1911 and previous correspondence
relative to the draft Memorandum of Exchange of land at the
Naval Armement Depot, &c., I am directed by the Commodore
to inform you that a telegram has been received from the
Admiralty asking whether the plan illustrating Hongkong
Ordinance 17 of 1921 is agreed to and if so that the plan
accompanying the Agreement may be revised.
It would appear there is a discrepancy
between the two plans referred to in regard to the seaward boundary of the reclamation, and I am therefore to request that any necessary revision of the Memorandum plan may be made and referred for transmission to the Admiralty.
I am also to request that a copy of the plan referred to in the Ordinance No.17 of 1921 may be forwarded
to the Commodore for his retention.
The Honourabl
The Colonial Secretary,
Hongkong.
I have, &c.,
(Sd.)
A. E. ASHTON,
Civil Secretary.
